Role overview

At Osedea, we're building software that takes advantage of a new generation of AI capabilities. From intelligent assistants to agents that interact with tools, data, and business systems, we're exploring how Agentic AI can solve real problems for our clients.

We're looking for an Agentic AI Developer who enjoys building software, experimenting with emerging technologies, and turning ideas into working solutions.

You'll collaborate with experienced developers, AI specialists, designers, and clients to develop AI agents and integrate them into real products and workflows. You'll have opportunities to work on different technical challenges, deepen your expertise in Agentic AI, and contribute to how we build these systems at Osedea.

We're looking for someone with strong software development fundamentals, hands-on experience with LLM-powered applications, and the curiosity to keep learning as the technology evolves.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy AI agents and LLM-powered applications for client projects.
  • Build agentic workflows that integrate language models, external APIs, tools, and business data.
  • Implement patterns such as tool calling, structured outputs, context management, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  • Contribute to agent orchestration, workflow automation, and integrations with existing software systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following software development best practices.
  • Participate in evaluating agent behaviour, improving output quality, and troubleshooting reliability and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with senior developers on system design, architecture, and technical decisions.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to understand client requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Explore emerging AI models, tools, and frameworks, and share what you learn with the team.
  • Take ownership of assigned features and contribute to their delivery from development through production.

The ideal candidate

We value a strong technical foundation and demonstrated initiative. You don't need to have mastered every emerging AI framework to succeed in this role.

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing applications using large language models, AI APIs, or agentic frameworks through professional projects or substantial independent work.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with backend development, APIs, and software integrations.
  • Understanding of LLM concepts, prompt and context engineering, tool calling, and RAG.
  • Familiarity with modern software development practices, including version control, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
  • Experience working with cloud services or deploying applications to production.
  • Builder and tinkerer mindset with an appetite for hands-on solutions creation and solving technical challenges with initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to learn independently, stay up-to-date in a fast evolving technological landscape and contribute to team discussions.
  • Comfortable collaborating with people from different technical backgrounds and asking questions when needed.
  • Intermediate or conversational French (minimum).

You should be proficient with

  • Programming: Python and general software development practices.
  • LLM integration: Working with model APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini.
  • Backend development: APIs, data exchange, external integrations, and asynchronous operations.
  • TypeScript or JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Agentic concepts: Tool calling, orchestration, structured outputs, and context management.
  • Retrieval: Basic RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector search.
  • Software quality: Unit testing, debugging, Git, and code review practices.
  • Infrastructure: Basic cloud deployment concepts and CI/CD workflows.

It's a plus if you have experience with

  • Agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, OpenAI Agents SDK, or similar tools.
  • Building agents or LLM-powered applications used by real users.
  • Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent-tool integrations.
  • Agent evaluation, observability, and monitoring tools.
  • Multi-agent systems and workflow automation.
  • AI coding assistants and agent-based development tools.
  • Working on client projects or enterprise software solutions.
