About the job
From Ellipsis Health's job posting, shown as published.
Ellipsis Health builds AI products that take on healthcare's staffing shortages and administrative burden, pairing conversational AI with our patented voice biomarker technology to help deliver better healthcare for everyone. Our voice agents talk with patients every day: booking and rescheduling appointments, answering billing questions, handling medication refills, and checking in after a hospital visit.
This role owns product for select pipelines within our provider business: the agentic workflows that health systems, provider groups, and FQHCs use across care transitions, scheduling, and referral coordination. You'll report to our VP of Product and work across the provider teams within Ellipsis, partnering with engineering, clinical, deployment, sales, and customer success to turn what we hear from health system partners into products that ship.
About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and deliver products that directly impact patient outcomes and provider efficiency. Reporting to our VP of Product, you'll own the roadmap for select pipelines within our provider business, taking products from concept through launch and iteration. Success in this role requires close collaboration with engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams to translate high-level goals into products that solve real problems for health systems and their patients.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in technical product management at a high-growth company, is a ruthless prioritizer, is comfortable working in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, and can bridge technical and non-technical teams while acting as the voice of the customer in every product discussion.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage the roadmap for the pipelines you own, ensuring alignment with the broader provider product strategy and key company objectives.
- Conduct market research and user interviews to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Use a clear prioritization framework to maintain a constantly prioritized roadmap and backlog that balances the needs of clients and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch and iteration.
- Define and track success metrics, using data and user feedback to continuously improve product performance.
- Ensure smooth integration with third-party systems like Epic and Cerner, leveraging APIs to enhance interoperability.
- Maintain the backlog, including identifying escalated feature and bug requests and preparing them for upcoming sprints.
- Partner closely with engineering to ensure timely, high-quality delivery, serving as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.
- Collaborate with operations, care navigators, and hospital partners to refine requirements and optimize the user experience.
- Act as the voice of the customer in all product discussions, ensuring solutions address real pain points.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product management experience, including at least 2 years in a high-growth startup environment.
- Proven track record of launching and scaling successful software products.
- Experience working directly with engineering teams to build technically complex data products and LLM-based applications.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience defining KPIs and making data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments.
- Experience with API integrations and building interoperable solutions for health systems using Epic or Cerner.
- Background in digital health, care coordination, or patient-facing products.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary and equity package, comprehensive health and dental insurance, and a flexible work environment.
The typical salary range for this role is $150,000 to $190,000 USD, depending on skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
Background Checks
